Papillon

‘Papillon’ is French for ‘butterfly’.

Whilst struggling to stand in the strong winds at the summit of Pic de Costabonne in the Eastern Pyrenees, a butterfly flew by - or was blown by.

This simple book is about how such creatures can survive in this harsh environment.

The book has a hessian cover, and contains printed pages, sandpaper, and tissue paper. The book is bound with a knotted leather strip.
