A Short Walk to The Long Man

This piece was developed from notes made on a walk in August 1996 between Polegate and the Long Man of Wilmington, Sussex, England.

The Long Man is a 90m high figure carved into the South Downs near the village of Wilmington.

The piece consists of a fold-out 'route map' in a box, and a chalk pebble which sits in a separate sandpaper lined compartment. There is also a framed version of this piece.
